1. Overview
Answrr is a brand of SparrowTechnologies s.r.o., the data controller for personal data processed through answrr.com. You may request deletion of personal data we hold about you, subject to the limits described below and in our Privacy policy.
There is currently no self-service delete button in the product. Deletion is handled by our team after we verify your request.
2. What you can ask us to delete
- Voter data — your email address and vote records (selected options, confirmation status, and related technical data such as IP address and browser user agent stored with the vote).
- Organizer / admin access — your admin email, active sessions, and magic-link / session tokens used to access the organizer tools.
- Support correspondence — emails you sent us about privacy or deletion, once the request is closed (we may keep a minimal record that a request was handled).
Aggregated, anonymized statistics (for example public vote counts that no longer identify you) may remain after personal identifiers are removed.
3. How to request deletion
Email [email protected] with the subject line Data deletion request. Please include:
- The email address used to vote and/or to access the organizer tools
- Whether you are requesting deletion as a voter, an organizer, or both
- The poll name or URL, if you know it (helps us find the right records faster)
- Any other detail that helps us locate your data (e.g. approximate vote date)
Send the request from the same email address you want deleted when possible. That is the simplest way for us to verify that you control the address.
4. Verification
To protect against unauthorized erasure, we may ask you to confirm control of the email address concerned (for example by replying from that inbox or completing a short verification step). We will not delete data based solely on a request from an unverified third party.
5. What happens after you request
- We acknowledge your request.
- We verify your identity / email control as needed.
- We assess whether full erasure is possible or whether limited retention applies (see Section 6).
- We delete or anonymize eligible personal data and confirm the outcome by email.
Under GDPR we generally respond within one month of receiving a clear, verifiable request. Complex cases may take up to two further months; if so, we will tell you why.
6. Limits on deletion
We may refuse or limit erasure where GDPR allows, including where data is still necessary to:
- Preserve the integrity and auditability of a closed or disputed poll (fair results for organizers and other voters)
- Comply with a legal obligation
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
If we cannot fully erase a record, we will explain what we retained and why, and we will restrict processing to those necessary purposes where appropriate.
Deleting organizer access ends your ability to manage those polls. Another admin on the same poll (if any) is not removed by your request.
7. Other privacy rights
Deletion is one of your rights. You may also request access, rectification, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing. Details are in our Privacy policy. Use the same contact address for those requests.
8. Complaints
If you believe we have not handled your deletion request properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Slovak data protection authority:
Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky
Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27, Slovak Republic
Website: dataprotection.gov.sk
You may also contact the supervisory authority in your EU/EEA country of residence or workplace.
